What are the benefits of the fenugreek plant?

Fenugreek is a plant also known under the name of ayurvedic powder of "Methi", which is a true hair care. It is known for its many benefits, including: sheathing and beautifying the hair while stimulating growth and it helps to fight against baldness. This hair care is perfect to make a mask on the hair.

The fenugreek powder is mainly used for the many hair virtues it contains: moisturizing, strengthening and gives volume, perfect for fine hair. It helps the scalp to get rid of dandruff, bringing shine, softness and vitality. In cosmetics, fenugreek is also one of the most common herbs for strengthening hair.

This hair treatment can be combined with other plant powders, such as neem powder or amla powder. You can even make your own shampoo by mixing it with sidr powder.

How to use fenugreek powder ?

    Mix the desired amount of powder with very hot water to form a paste (preferably in a glass or clay bowl, and using a wooden spoon).
    Your paste should be creamy. You can mix it with other ayurvedic powders like amla or neem.
    Apply the hair mask to washed and damp hair.
    Cover with cellophane and leave it on for a few hours.
    Finally, rinse your hair thoroughly with clear water. There is no need to apply your shampoo in order to keep the hydrating benefits of the fenugreek powder.
