What are the benefits of katam powder?



Derived from a plant called buxus dioica, katam powder has long been used by men and women alike to restore shine and color to white or dull hair, but not only that. It also offers your hair shine, brilliance and resistance thanks to its natural properties.

Often used to darken the color of your hair, katam powder can also be associated with henna without necessarily giving a copper or red aspect.

How to use katam powder?


    Mix a little powder with very hot water to form a paste.
    Your paste should be creamy. You can mix it with other ayurvedic powders like amla or neem.
    Apply the hair mask to washed and damp hair.
    Cover with cellophane and leave it on for a few hours.
    Finally rinse your hair thoroughly with clear water.
